Did you know that once a month a few of us meet in the church hall for some social table tennis?
Well, if you didn’t then you do now!
We are a happy few who meet on either a Tuesday or Thursday evening towards the end of the month from 7pm to 8.30pm (depending on energy levels).
There is one table, we play ‘winner stays on’ up to 5 points, doubles swapping teams or folks sit out and let others back on for longer games.
While we await our turn we find out about each other’s lives and chat about whatever else comes up. We might discuss recent events in the life of the church or even a recent sermon.
The hall has chairs to sit on as well as the necessary bats and balls. There are cups to drink from and water in the tap. Someone might bring a packet of biscuits if they are feeling flush that month.
All are very welcome to join in. Our next session (as of the time of writing) is on Tuesday 22nd September, 2026. Hope to see you one evening soon!
