Accessibility
At All Saints ANeW, we believe that all people are created in God’s image, all people need Christ’s salvation and all people need a relationship with God. Therefore, we want to make attending our church as easy as possible for everyone and we want all people to feel welcome.
Our new front entrance features a wheelchair ramp and multiple hand rails in order to make entering the church a much more comfortable and safe experience. In addition, we have added a new alternate entrance towards the front of the church which provides a wide, flat path to the street and the fenced off grassy play area.
The front raised area / sanctuary is accessible via a new ramp and hand rail. This means that all people are more easily able to participate in the presentation aspects of our service such as music, reading the Bible or leading prayers.
There are three new toilets located at the back of the church including one ambulant toilet and one accessible toilet. The accessible toilet also includes a baby change table and a shower. Having the toilets at the back of the church means that guests are able to discreetly make use the facilities without disturbing others during the service.
We have installed an upgraded hearing loop system which covers the floor space of the main church area.
There is a new quiet space / crying room to provide an area to retreat to for a moment of solitude or reflection.
For those with audio sensitivities, our Sunday 8am and Wednesday 10:30am services are generally quieter and more orderly in their mode of worship than the Sunday 10am and 5pm services.
For anyone who is unable to attend services in person we broadcast our 5pm Sunday evening service online via Zoom and we record and publish our most recent sermons for online listening at any time.
So no matter who you are or what your circumstances are, we would love for you to join us. Please contact us if we can do anything to facilitate your visit. We meet regularly on Sunday at 8am, 10am or 5pm and on Wednesday at 10:30am.
